what direct IP would I use to connect to the main server, you know the one with minetown in the middle of the map

Hi all, I am tntnorge, and some of you may have heard the name before. Anyways, about half a year ago I used to be very active at Minetowen and I have spent countless hours (more than 200) on the server. when I last updated minecraft, I was suddenly unable to connect to minetown, I have been getting the "Can't connect to server" message. I can't seem to find the problem, Is it the ip? I have always used "mc.minetown.net:25565", and i have tried "MT.GG" too. someone who know the problem please help. thank you, tntnorge
